Through various partnerships SJ Grobler advised, assisted, and implemented strategies on all compliance regulatory legislation in South Africa, Africa and abroad.
He started his career in Retail Management and was the youngest manager employed at the time in the METCASH Group of Companies, forming part of the turnaround team to change border line Branches to be profitable.
SJ established Grobler & Associates in 1997 and manages the practice. It focuses on labour relations advice and assistance to employers, specializing in risk identification, change management and conflict management and transferring and honing these skills to employers.
He also established the Joint Bargaining Forums (JBF) at the National Library of South Africa (NLSA) and the National Zoological Gardens and filled the role of chief negotiator for these employers.
Furthermore, he is an Organizer of the South African United Employers Organization (SAUEO) representing employers in all Labour Related Forums in South Africa and is the managing member of Famaser Risk Consultants, a consultancy focusing on Occupational Health and Safety Compliance.
